Transdermal Therapy: Magnesium Oil Spray
Hey there! We are so grateful for all the support and love everyone has shown us with our Honey Hill Naturals Line! We are truly humbled. Thank you so much! It has been just over one year now since introducing our product; (Transdermal) Magnesium Oil Spray!
Magnesium Oil You Say?
Well, yes, sort of. Magnesium oil is actually not an oil at all, but a concentrated solution of magnesium chloride flakes and water. The flakes make the prepared solution feel like an oil on your skin. Minerals are extremely important to our health and well-being. They help to conduct electrical activity and is used in over 300 processes in the body. Magnesium is a vital electrolyte, and if we have too little of it, can cause a mild to serious imbalance. Every single organ in our body needs magnesium. Did you know that this amazing mineral is responsible for hundreds of actions in our bodies, for DNA repair, proper fat breakdown and phase II liver detox?
Are You Magnesium Deficient?
For most of us, this answer is yes. Have you ever felt an annoying eye or toe cramp? Leg cramps, muscle spasms or headaches? Pharmaceuticals like antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, diuretics, and even oral contraceptives can deplete our bodies of this mineral. Do you drink soda pop? Coffee? Tea? Alcoholic beverages? Magnesium binds to these drinks, then is depleted from our cells. Any time we’re too stressed, overextending ourselves, not sleeping well or feel emotionally drained, our Mg levels rapidly decrease because our body uses this mineral to create homeostasis. Transdermal Magneium Oil Spray may have the ability to raise the levels of this much needed mineral when applied topically.
Transdermal Magnesium Oil Spray
Here at Honey Hill Naturais, we created an easy spray designed to give you fast acting relief. Transdermal therapy will give you relief from ailments like headaches and migraines, reduces high blood pressure, insomnia, depression, anxiety, pain and, also ease muscle soreness and muscle cramps. Magnesium Oil is also known to work well in promoting healthy skin conditions. It is truly amazing for the whole body! Our magnesium chloride flakes come from the salt beds of the Zechstein Sea, and a touch of Lavender 100% essential oil. Magnesium is a very large mineral and that makes it hard to be absorbed internally. It is said that we usually only absorb about 30%-40% of supplements taken internally. This, in part, is what makes our transdermal magnesium therapy so wonderful. Our transdermal spray is quickly absorbed through our skin and into our bloodstream, allowing for complete, 100% tissue saturation. Magnesium chloride is an easy-to-absorb form of this mineral and our body will only use what is needed so we don’t overdose.
How Do I Use Magnesium Oil Spray?
I use Magnesium Oil spray in many ways. During my daughter’s cancer journey, I was only getting about two hours of sleep at one point. I knew my body was quite stressed, of course, so I began spraying Magnesium Oil Spray on the bottoms of my feet at night before going to sleep. This, combined with my Lavender Fine Mist Spray, misted onto my bed linens, brought me to sleeping soundly for four hours a night…then five…then six…to eight hours every night! I noticed the effects instantly. My daughter had neuropathy in her right leg from the chemotherapy drugs and would experience toe cramps quite often. She would mist on the Magnesium Oil Spray to end the cramps instantly. My husband and I use this spray for sore muscles and joints, too. I would use this spray continually to help my body with all the stress, and I continue to do so even now. I still use the spray on my feet before bed and every morning, I mist on a good amount onto my arms and legs after the shower as a magnesium supplement. It’s an incredibly easy spray to use and I couldn’t be without it.
FAQ
Q. How many sprays should I use and can my kids use it?
A. You can use anywhere from 2 to 20 sprays, anywhere on your body like arms, legs, belly area, back and feet. You can't overdose when using this product topically. Our bodies only take in what it needs. For your kids, you can use 2 to 3 sprays.
Q. Why does the spray feel tingly/itchy?
A. When we are magnesium deficient, any magnesium spray will feel this way. This will dissipate as our magnesium stores become replenished. Some may not experience this at all. Others have felt better with spraying the bottoms of their feet instead of their arms or legs. Magnesium will burn on any areas with broken skin or sores, and freshly shaven skin so avoid these areas.
Q. Would Epsom salts work?
A. Yes, however, the difference with Epsom salts is that they are magnesium sulfate which is more drying on the skin and not as easily absorbed. I love taking Epsom salt baths, though!
