After this lovely 3 day weekend, I am EXHAUSTED. My dad and little brother were able to head up to Chicago to spend a couple of days with us (of course right after the "warm" 40 degree weather disappears). So tonight, after a weekend full of contagious laughing, a trip to the Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum, and some relaxing movie time with the whole family, I can smile for days. I'm so so happy everyone was able to get together and have a great time. Being with family is so important to me. Being able to take my mind off of everything that's going on and just sit and share some laughs with my family makes every single problem go away. This weekend was so amazing, but now it's back to reality; the second week of the semester is here :( I don't want this weekend to end!
