Sole Water!

Feeling salty? Have you ever heard of Sole (pronounced Solay) water? You’re not alone if you haven’t. I’ve just learned about Sole myself. I’ve been working hard on my recovery from chronic renal fatigue, (more about that coming soon) and I discovered the amazing benefits of this water! That’s right. I am going to suggest that you make this salt water for your own health. You know me too well. Here’s why.

WHAT IS SOLE?

Sole is water that has been completely saturated with a real, natural salt. I did say salt water. I know what you’re thinking. Salt water is unhealthy; however, I am not talking about regular table salt. Table salt is bleached and has been stripped of any minerals. Celtic Sea salt and pink (yes pink) Himalayan sea salt is mined from ancient sea beds and is pure. These real salts provide a rich source of about 85 trace minerals, and it’s these minerals that make this mixture so awesome. This water is more than just taking a teaspoon of salt and adding it to your water. The water itself must be fully saturated with a lot of salt, like the ocean. Also, this is not the same as adding salt to your food. It has to be at these highly concentrated levels. This much salt would not taste good on our food, unless you ask Susie. Okay, I’m kidding!

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

We’ve always been told that salt is bad for us, so I know this may sound strange. This salt remedy has been used for centuries and there is even scientific evidence supporting the following:

  • Helps to hydrate the body
  • Boosts energy
  • Improves Blood sugar
  • Improves blood pressure
  • Detoxifies the body
  • Improves digestion
  • Improves bone health
  • Improves sleep
  • Helps to prevent muscle cramps
  • Supports healthy veins
  • Natural Anti-histamine
  • Healthy hair, skin and nails

HOW TO MAKE SOLE WATER FOR YOURSELF

Start with a glass jar or glass container with a plastic lid. (Do not use a metal lid. It will oxidize, or rust, and ruin the solution.) Fill 1/3 of the glass container with real salt. Fill the rest of the container with your choice of filtered water. Place the cap on and let it sit overnight. When you check the water the next day, there should be a little salt left in the bottom. This means the water has been fully saturated with the salt. If all the salt is absorbed, then add more salt to the water and continue the process each day until some of the salt remains in the bottom.

HOW TO DRINK SOLE WATER

Add 1 tsp to a glass of water every morning before breakfast. This mixture does not expire because the salt is a natural preservative. More water and more salt can be added to keep up the amount in the jar. If you start to feel detox reactions like headache or nausea, use less of the sole water and build up slowly.

Minerals are the basic building blocks for proper nutrition and health and without them, nothing else in the body will work properly. Are you feeling salty now? Sole!
