THE BODY DOES ITS OWN SPRING CLEANING

Did you ever feel the instinctive power to get your cleaning done when Spring comes along? When you look at nature around you, you notice Springtime bursts forth with new growth. The winds and rains clear away all the loose debris from the trees, plants and land. Our bodies are no different as Spring is all about cleansing the liver and gallbladder. Spring is all about clearing out and sloughing off the old ruminants of the past seasons and bringing in fresh, new health, vibrant energy, and clarity. It’s a time to rid the mind and body of emotions, like anger, anxiety and frustration, that is no longer serving us.

Our bodies may have poorly digested foods in our systems that need to be purged. We also store viral or fungal infections like candida (yeast) deep in our cells and these inner toxins really cause serious issues that prevent us from being at our best health.

We know that our liver detoxes the body, right? It’s an amazing filter that works very hard to process the foods we eat, the supplements we take, the makeup we wear, and even the air that we breathe. Did you know that the liver even helps us to cleanse those anger feelings we feel? Don’t be surprised if anger feelings are felt during the Spring when the body is doing its own Spring cleaning. It’s just your liver trying to heal itself.

BE GENTLE TO YOUR LIVER/GALLBLADDER

-         Eat a healthy diet full of fresh veggies and salad greens.

-         Drink green tea or do a green tea cleanse.

-         Eat probiotic-rich or fermented foods or take a probiotic supplement.

-         Get in some exercise. Physical movement and a good sweat help to move the toxins out. Rebounding is a great way to get the lymphatic system moving to carry out all the toxins.

-         Get plenty of rest and good quality sleep.

-         Get colonics and practice coffee enemas at home.

-         Not a fan of coffee enemas? Try using a castor oil pack instead. It works in much the same way.

-         Practice gratitude. Practice meditation. Practice mindfulness and purposefulness.

I also use all kinds of healing salts and other bath ingredients to help with the detoxification process. You can find more information on this at this blog post here. Another powerful tool I use daily is my Magnesium Oil Spray. Magnesium is an amazing anti-oxidant mineral that not only helps provide the energy required by our cells for the detoxification process, it also plays a role in the glutathione synthesis that takes place in the liver, aids in balancing the alkalinity of the body (along with potassium), and it also helps to ease the symptoms of detoxing. You can find our Magnesium Oil Spray here.

The body is amazingly smart, and it knows what to do and when to do it!
