Tara's Blog - Happy Hallowe'en!

I made it through! I actually made it through the worst of the radiation burn, yay!

As this week begins, I am feeling confident with new motivation because my brother just proposed to his girlfriend! What better way to look forward to the future than to have an important event coming up that you want to attend? Besides, you know, wanting to get better just to be healthy again and get back to a somewhat normal life ;)

Now that the skin on my chest is not as raw and sensitive as before, it is so much easier for me to move around. In fact, this past weekend I had the time of my life hanging out with my family. I went to a pumpkin patch and walked through a corn maze, drove through our land for the first time since May, watched movies, shot a gun for the first time, and more. I had so much energy all weekend with just a little bit of nausea. I am so so happy. My heart is happy.

I started my second round of chemo today, and I'm already starting to feel the effects. Gross.. But hopefully this week is a breeze! Oh, and Happy Halloween! This baby needs her blankey so I'm out of here. (Hehheehehehehehehhhe)
