Homemade Sweetened Condensed Milk

This sweetened condensed milk is low carb, high fat and no sugar! Here's all you need to do:

ingredients:

2 cups organic heavy cream

2 tablespoons grass-fed butter (I used salted)

1/3 cup Swerve sweetener (or sweetener of your choice)

 

Instructions:

1. Place all ingredients in a large frying pan over medium heat. (Yes, a frying pan. This condenses better in a large surface area.)

2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until reduced by almost half (about 15-20 minutes). Be sure to stir to prevent burning.

The result will be a thick, delicious cup of sweetened condensed milk. This makes about 1 1/2 cups.
