FAQ
Q. How many sprays should I use, and can my kids use it?
A. You can use anywhere from 2 to 20 sprays, anywhere on your body like arms, legs, belly area, back and feet. For your kids, you can use 2 to 3 sprays.
Q. Why does the spray feel tingly/itchy?
A. When we are magnesium deficient, any magnesium spray will feel this way. This will dissipate as our magnesium stores become replenished. Some may not experience this at all. Others have felt better with spraying the bottoms of their feet instead of their arms or legs. Magnesium will burn on any areas with broken skin or sores, and freshly shaven skin so avoid these areas.

Are you letting sugar steal your magnesium from you?
Did you know that it takes 54 molecules of magnesium to process just 1 molecule of sugar? This means that eating sugars and the wrong foods can deplete and use up the magnesium stores we have in our body.
Are you Mg deficient?
For most of us, this answer is yes.
Causes of Mg deficiency.
ü Eating refined sugars
ü Eating excess carbs
ü Eating processed foods
ü Drinking coffee, tea, soda, and alcohol
ü Being in a state of stress, anxiety, and fear
More about Mg deficiency.
Have you ever felt an annoying eye or toe twitch? Pharmaceuticals like antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, diuretics, and even oral contraceptives can deplete our bodies of this mineral.
Do you drink soda pop? Coffee? Tea? Alcoholic beverages? Magnesium binds to these drinks, then it is depleted from our cells.
Any time we’re too stressed, in pain, overextending ourselves, not sleeping well or feel emotionally drained, our Mg levels rapidly decrease because our body uses this mineral to create homeostasis.
Magnesium and Sleep
It’s no secret in order to fall asleep and stay asleep, our body and brain needs to be relaxed. Magnesium helps to activate the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS), known as our rest and digest system. It does this by regulating neurotransmitters which signals the brain and nervous system. Magnesium also regulates the production of the hormone melatonin, that signals our sleep-wake cycle. Maintaining a healthy level of magnesium in the body, supports a deeper, and more restful sleep.
How magnesium impacts sleep.
Magnesium plays a role in sleep by maintaining healthy levels of GABA, a neurotransmitter that promotes sleep. Having low GABA levels can make it very difficult for the body and brain to relax. Difficulty falling asleep, restless sleep, insomnia that’s linked to restless leg syndrome, and waking up frequently throughout the night. These are some of the conditions experienced from having low Mg levels. Maintaining healthy magnesium levels supports the widespread functions of the body to protect our health, including sleep.
“Studies have shown Mg is important for regulating sleep cycles as well as to relax into our rest and digest mode.” says Marysa Cardwell, a nutrition therapist and contributing dietitian to Lose It!, a free calorie-counting app.

People with low magnesium levels experience symptoms related to insomnia, such as difficulty falling asleep, restless sleep, and waking up frequently throughout the night.
